Module vs. ModuleVersion

Hi all,

here's a piece of code

Module srcMod = load(modVer, true)
print name(srcMod) ""

where modVer is a baseline of a module.
The baseline gets displayed correctly but when I try to print its name I get the dxl error
"null Module parameter was passed into argument position 1".

any ideas?

greets
Karl

Hmm there seems to be something badly wrong. The most logical explaination is, that you the module that pops up is loaded from some other code, that you did not post (e.g. where the ModuleVersion variable is declared). The other explaination would be, that some code before this code badly messes up DOORS.

Can you post the context code for the calls?

Regards, Mathias

Hello Mathias,

thanks for your reply.
Your first guess was correct: a user had played around with some code in the module (which he shouldn't have) without telling me.

thanks again.
